In addition to our scientific investigations and other activities, we will also integrate short meditations in nature into our days. All of our explorations will encourage us to enjoy our innate talents, while connecting us to the beauty of the natural world and to the adventure and fun of discovery. Please join us! Each camp consists of three days at Temescal Regional Park and one overnight camping in Redwood Regional Park. Weekly Schedule: Monday through Wednesday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at Lake Temescal. Thursday: Redwood Regional Park at 9:00 am and campers spend an overnight tenting in the park Friday: picked up at 3:00 pm at Redwood Regional Park
Each camp is lead by the Camp Director, as well as a Camp Counselor. (Adult: Youth ration 1:6). Rates: $260 per week (when registering before May 31, 2010) $300 per week (when registering after May 31, 2010) Sibling and "Buddy" discounts! When registering two children at the same time each child receives a $15 discount. Scholarships are available!! Please contact us for a scholarship application before May 1st. Meeting Location: Temescal Regional Park, Oakland, CA Monday through Wednesday: We will meet at in the North Parking Lot at 9:00 am each day and return to this location at 3:00 pm each day. Thursday and Friday: We will meet at Redwood Regional Park at the Skyline Gate Parking Lot at 9:00 am. We will spend the night tenting at Girl's Camp and return to the parking lot at 3:00 pm on Friday. |
